Xbox Gets Exclusive Early Access to Skyrim DLC
More DLC exclusiveness drama – this time it involved The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, one of this years most anticipated titles. Microsoft and Bethesda have forged a deal where the first Skyrim DLC will be available for Xbox 360 players for a month before releasing on PS3 & PC.
This news has PlayStation 3 players causing a quite a ruckus. Then there are the PC gamers who as faithful fans of the early Elder Scroll’s games helped cement Bethesda as the powerhouse game developer we know today. While gamers have become more vocal recently about their displeasure with DLC exclusivity, developers continue to ‘make deals with the devil’.
What do YOU think?
Is it fair or good business for developers to continue offering exclusive deals to certain groups? Will this trend continue or is it nearing its last days? Will unhappy gamers have their voices heard, or will they continue to be ignored?

I believe its fair. Its called promotion. Why PC has to wait though I don’t know. It is also run by microsoft. At the end of the day microsoft has that edge over other gaming platforms, they are too rich for their own good.
While the common argument for early XBOX DLC would be the fact that people pay for XBOX LIVE, but considering that Skyrim is a single player RPG the promotion seems kinda redundant. But hey who am I to judge Microsoft and their marketing strategies lol.
It’s stupif why should one group wait to have DLC, more chance at spoiler alerts then also. Also why Xbox 360 if it wasn’t for the PC bethesda would never be so succesfull, and PC is also run by microsoft so yeah strange
