With less than two weeks until Christmas, the mad dash to get all those last minute gifts is on. If you’re shopping for someone who isn’t a gamer, these awesome buys make the perfect opportunity to turn them into one. For that new gamer, you can’t go wrong with a bundle that includes a console, controller, and the hottest new games.
Basically, in one easy-to-buy package you get a gift that’s ready to use right out of the box. You’ll have to make the difficult choice of which console to purchase, but here are some great bundles for the current consoles.
Newegg – XBOX 360 Gears of War Limited Edition

Newegg is currently offering the XBOX 360 Gears of War Limited Edition package for $399.00, and along with the bundle they’re throwing in a $100 gift card. This bonus makes an especially great gift for gamers, because the card can be used to purchase two or three new games in the future, as they are released.
The included game is, of course, Gears of War 3, the third-person extra-terrestrial shooter that’s one of the XBOX’s most popular titles of the year. Also, Walmart has rolled back prices on Batman: Arkham City, to just $49.96 on all platforms.

Lastly, For those that prefer their battles on the PC, Blizzard Entertainment has some pretty sweet Christmas deals in gaming. They are offering deep discounts on World of Warcraft software via their webstore.
For only $5.00, you can pick up the WoW Battle Chest, which includes the complete World of Warcraft game, The Burning Crusade Expansion Set, a beginner’s guide, and a prepaid first month of online gaming. That’s a deal you cannot go wrong with.
